Layering. That’s  where I start. I work primarily with pencil and pastel. 

Erasure. That’s my process. I use white (pencils, pastels, and chalk) to produce art that blurs, fades, distorts, and occasionally, disfigures.

Abstraction. Thats the point. I create art that exaggerates, displaces and reimagines places, experiences and emotions. Fun is involved as well.

I am Anandam Kavoori, an outsider artist born and raised in India, making Athens, Georgia, USA my home.
